About
us
Fraser Farm lies in the valley of Moon Creek, near Ripon,
Berlin and Green Lake WI and is home to many critters
big and small. We take pride in serving our customers
and providing experiences that will be remembered for
many years. We enjoy seeing kids, parents, grand-parents
and pets on leashes getting into the best of Christmas
spirits while at Fraser Farm.
Our horse drawn wagon rides to the fields, hot apple cider
in a heated wreath shop, homemade cookies and unique gift
ideas will add to the excitement of the season. Our wide
variety of shapes, and sizes of fraser and balsam fir
usually meets the needs of most discriminating tree hunters.
The pre-cut tree display area in an unheated shed makes
it easy to select a freshly cut fraser or balsam fir tree
while staying dry.
We enjoy hearing life stories that have happened during
the year, and look forward to hearing yours.
Anxiously awaiting the season, we are here for your holiday
memories-

“Real
ChristmasTree Benefits”
One of the greatest benefits in doing this type of work
is working with mother nature and even more importantly
our customers young and not quite so young. Despite drought,
excess rain, weeds, bee stings, cold and deep snow, we
enjoy watching the tiny trees grow until they are green,
plush and fragrant. More importantly we enjoy the smiles
of anticipation fom kids and adults as they leave our
place to decorate the “real Christmas tree”
in their homes continuing the traditions started by their
parents and Grandparents.
Real Christmas trees provide oxygen, provide bird and
animal habitat, add moisture to your home and are just
more in tune with today’s “Green Movement.”
Growing them keeps us busy and usually out of trouble.
We can also guarantee that our trees do not contain harmful
amounts of lead and that your tree is unique –because
like each of us, each tree has it’s own beauty! |
Caring
for the Young “uns”-
Since we interplant (plant trees next to the ones cut
the year before ) we ask that you walk parallel with the
rows and cross rows only next to larger trees so that
the little “ones” don’t get trampled.
This is especially important when we have snow which could
completely cover them. We also ask that you try to land
your newly cut tree without landing on an up and coming
tree, pull your tree down the middle of the row as well
if possible, and use care not to get your tree dirty if
we don’t have snow to glide it on. If you need help,
ask one of us to carry your tree for you. |
*Answer
Christmas Tree Stand
We will drill your Christmas tree to make it compatible
with the innovative "Answer Stand: using a tapered
3/8" drill bit. The tree can then stand straight
using a tapered pin stand. Ask us for details and look
for the stands that we have for sale if you need one. |
Dates
and Times for 2008
We will open the Friday
after Thanksgiving at 9:00 am, and will be open Fridays,
Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 – 4:30, until December
21st, the Sunday before Christmas.
We provide saws or you can bring your own. To keep things
quiet, we like to use only hand saws, as the critters
get ornery when there is too much noise out in the fields. |
